Geowool - Erosion control - Hamilton
We recently had an enquiry from our customer WILD EXPOSURE who are based on Ohaupo (North Island, NZ) Their client wanted a natural erosion control / mulch mat for a hillside on a new property in Hamilton. Because of the large area and steep gradient, we manufactured larger rolls to make it faster to lay, requiring less joins. We decided on a width of 2.1m x 25m rolls would be suitable. The thickness of wool was also increased by 30% to help it suppress weeds more effectively and last a bit longer while the planting established. The team at WILD EXPOSURE set to laying the Geowool and were done in no time.
